The cooled seat purpose is to keep you from sweating on your back and butt. its not supposed to replace air conditioning. If it had active breezy airflow, you would be so cold you couldn't stand it. Its just so your clothes don't get wet from hot days sitting on leather.

But it already has a gps antenna, how else would sync services download and give you turn by turn directions?

I hardwired my valentine one in the fuse area of the passenger side. Why do you need it to turn off when the ignition is pushed? After 10 minutes the accessories turn off anyway.
