    I'm not trying to insult you. And yes I know GM has the 5.3 I was referencing the ford 5.0. The current GM 5.3 has cylinder deactivation and gets 23 hwy in a full size truck. Epa goes off off ideal conditions not what you are going to see in the real world driving. My mustang hits 25-26 all day...

    You clearly have little knowledge in how this all works. GM has a 6.2L getting 30mpg and the current 5.0 gets 26 without cylinder deactivation or even a full aluminum body. Ford can make a mustang with a 5.0 get 30+ right now if they want. You need to hit up Google.

    Yes. Ford can go years with CAFE credits and the current 5.0 is capable of 30mpg

    Modern cars especially sports cars lose no more than 10-15%. Stock GTs should put down 390 on a properly tuned dyno

    Yep. Car and driver posted a 4.3 second 0-60 with a PP GT on stock tires. People don't seem to realize that a full set of PSS that come on the camaro would put the GT in the low 12s and 4 second 0-60. It's a shame ford can't figure that out.
