Do anyone's car also feel like a turd when launching with these gears. It's utterly gutless for the first 10..20ft. I'm FF tune and intake only on a 16 premium. My drag radials seem nearly pointless.

This is sound question. I took off my MBRP race due to the copious amounts of noise from the lack of a resonator and cats obviously when I did my long tubes.

Installed my catless long tubes along with my MBRP race... well ummmmmm lol. I don't mind how loud it is but now there is a hollow, rasp, tingy noise it makes. Sounds like garbage under the car, not so much from the mufflers. There is no leaks that I can tell. Will a set of resonators or x type...
So the question is keep the stock box with stock filter, airaid or other enclosed system or a drop in AEM filter and Airaid tube. From all the seaching it seems the Stock box / filter is ample and not restrictive.
The heat soak was crazy with my JLT down here in FL and even with the lil holes...

Lund FF TUNE, JLT AND MBRP CAT BACK
421hp and 376tq.. Smoothed it was 417/371. Race tune yielded same peak power with about 8 more hp under the curve in most areas.

Its a mustang dyno so I know the #s will be lower but going with a local member as well.
So to make sure I got this right just have it done in 5th gear with all the nannies off?

Okay after some initial disappointment on the performance of my out of the box FF tune I was finally able to log some pulls. I emailed John II this morning and within a couple hrs and a few emails I got a revision to my daily FF tune and a Race E85 FF tune ( No pump gas 93 without Torco added )...
Been dissapointed at the track. Can't muster up more then 112.5 in decent air. Leave like sloth, wheel hops in first, second and third so violent I have to let up and get back into it.
All is done is a JLT, LUND and CB. Was hoping it would trap 115-116 ish with the tune.
Cant search from my phone... sorry. Need to log a pull to send into Lund for revision. I'm pretty sure my tune is pretty rich and could use some leaning out.
