How bad does wheel hop affect mph.

Been dissapointed at the track. Can't muster up more then 112.5 in decent air. Leave like sloth, wheel hops in first, second and third so violent I have to let up and get back into it.
All is done is a JLT, LUND and CB. Was hoping it would trap 115-116 ish with the tune.

no you wont hit 115-116. drag radials will eliminate wheel hop as long as the track prep is good. all you can do is just shift smoother into 2nd and 3rd for now on stock tires. i had the same problem when mine was stock. youre also in cape coral. im in fort myers. so hello lol

Half shafts and drag radials is all that can help lol. What all do you have done and what have you ran. I've seen tons of tune / intake cars running in the 114+ area. Hell... some stock auto are hitting 112_ 113.

I have a JLT intake and bama E85 tune. with MT street radial 2's and i ran 11.965 at 115.85. and the biggest help towards getting rid of wheel hop will always be better tires.

Dont get so hung up on your trap, worry about your 60'. My car only went 108 but 12.62 in the 1/4 and 1.90 60'

hell yeah im down for that. i feel like people still bash bama even though they have paul now instead of that old chris guy.
