Nope, but cold starts in any winter climate that 5wxx oil is flowing the same, rather its 5w20-5w30-5w40-5w50!There's no need to be snide. Besides actually being more complicated than your simplified example makes it, you don't run around all winter with an oil temp of 0C so they aren't the same even then.
I wouldn't run anything less than a 30wt in these motors period! The thin crap was purely spec'd for CAFE reasons only and Fords arm being twisted for fleet MPG ratings at the expense of engine longevity. There is MANY reasons ford Back Spec'd to 5W30 in the later years of the Coyote and always stated 5W50 for any track use. Lets face it, most mustang owners run the heck out of these things on a daily basis!
