What's the difference between a Mach 1 base and a Bullitt? If they're both auto, the only difference is the GT500 cooling components. I mean, at the end of the day it's a Mach 1 which is awesome but the HP unlocks all of the potential for it...I would never be able to sleep at night if I didn't get the best version of the Mach 1.

I mean, at the end of the day it's a Mach 1 which is awesome but the HP unlocks all of the potential for it...I would never be able to sleep at night if I didn't get the best version of the Mach 1.
So does that mean a Mach 1 hp is a base GT350?

Keep in mind, I'm talking about car for car the way it comes off the showroom floor. Not the mods you can throw at it to compete. I know guys with 30 year old civics that would take candy from me like a baby but not stock for stock. A stock R vs stock Mach 1 HP would come down to driver skill on a technical race course.

Is that supposed to mean something? Look how close those stats are. Like I said, a course like Atlanta Motorsports Park or LimeRock would come down to driver skill.

Take the tail of the dragon for example. I ran with a 350R back in April. At any point where we didn't have traffic, he couldn't keep up after 2 corners. Was it the car? No.

I am all for the Mach 1 beating the GT350 but it is not "walking" it.

Yeah, Iā€™m often surprised that a non-HP Mach 1 is even legal to drive on public roads. Iā€™d guess that at some point Ford considered making the car come standard with a permanently attached trailer hitch.

There's nothing different about the HP performance wise outside of the wheels and tires, camber plates and rear sway bar. The rest is all bling. I don't really follow your logic here.

There's nothing different about the HP performance wise outside of the wheels and tires, camber plates and rear sway bars. The rest is all bling. I don't really follow your logic here.
Front splitter and rear wing. And that wing actually adds about 240 lbs of downforce. But to be clear, have you ever driven on 305/315 Sport Cup 2's? That alone is a game changer. It's like cheating.
