Been sitting on this since last summer, too lazy to swap it into the MT-82… why did I wait so long?.. it feels like a whole new transmission… so nice and smooth now. Definitely should have been my first mod. If you haven’t swapped out your stock fluid, DO IT!

I also have been sitting on BG fluid for my rearend ;)

Hopefully I feel up to doing that tomorrow.
100% agree, it makes a very nice difference.

The diff isn't too hard. I actually did mine last time with the car sitting on level ground. I'm slim so I was able to fit under and use those valvoline squeeze pouches lol. It was a tight fit though 😂

Are they overlays or are they replacement trim pieces? Looks good with the black trim, more subdued than stock.

Plugged in the RTD+ and uploaded a transmission focused tune that smooths out the horrible Roush calibration; was looking to enjoy non-drag strip driving in any other mode beyond DRIVE lol.

Then spent an hour testing out D, D/SPORT+, D/TRACK as well as S/SPORT+ and S/TRACK modes. Soooooooooo much more enjoyable in the city. Sure I don't get the lighting, and also extremely jarring, shifts from the base Roush but that is for the strip and not for something you want to cruise around the streets with.

Next up; some data logging to see what room I may have for some mid range improvements.

And also traction. I am finding these 305/35R19 555 RIIs just don't heat as well driving around the city as they do on the track. This may be a winter thing though as 17" Beadlocks and 305/45R17 MT ET Street SS tires are about $3000 in monopoly money.

Original bezels, just a fine grit sandpaper, sprayed on plastic adhesion promoter & rattle can satin black.

Monopoly money...so true...I laughed aloud at that statement.

I tried emptying the OCC when I did the oil change a few days ago, but since everything was heated up, I couldn't unscrew the reservoir. This morning I was able to unscrew it by hand and empty about a half tbsp. Cleaned it out and reattached. About 2k miles since last cleaning and oil change.

Finally decided on springs. Not looking forward to the sketchy ass spring compressors I'm going to rent for the job.

Get the Maddox one from harbor freight. It's actually good for this type of work
Have you used it personally? Reviews online are pretty bad. The OTC clamshell one seems nice but I'm not shelling out $350 for something I'd only use once or twice.
