Let me know how these work out for you!!!
I've got the RII on mine as well but am 305/35R19. I've been debating on getting some beadlock F14 and going 305/45R17 with an MT ET Street SS. I have found that unless I am doing burnouts on the street the 555 RII just don't soften up unless its 30c...
Are you city driving or for the track?
Are you wanting to go from a dig or rolling?
If CITY + ROLLING the Nitto RIIs will be more than enough for you if you are roling at like 50kph
If CITY and DIG then the Nitto 555 RII may not be for you as you really gotta heat them up to get them nice and...
I THINK it was April of 2023? When I called a few weeks ago they told me I had the latest calibration. My VCM Suite showed me Calibration ID 1321-R2ADP-BGJ.
I have since gotten a custom tune loaded by a shop that smoothed out my shifting issues. I don't have 3.15 gears though so have no idea...
Yep! The good thing about cars is all it takes is time and money. The body shop did an amazing job sorting it out and one of the members on here actually sent me one of his faux hood pins since he wasn't going to use them. Because they did such a good job I went back last week and had them swap...
*deep breath*
So I also ordered a Vicrez hood (the GT500 one). It arrived in a box that looked like it was dropped from a low flying plane and cost me about $1000.00 to have repaired, prepped and painted. There were dents in the hood from whatever freight forwarder they used. It was also...
Every week(ish) in the summer time. Thanks to @DFB5.0 I was able to build a hand wash detail kit that allows me to put my heavy metal music on and tune the world out for an hour or two.
After the beadlocks and new meat I plan on getting a power washer and that will be fun too.
Yesterday took her to "my spot" after getting it back from a wash, clay bar and ceramic maintenance coat.
Today I took her to my girlfriends place which is about 40 minutes outside of the city AND I learned that she CAN run on 91 octane with the Supercharger. I didn't pay attention to how...
I feel your pain. I originally went G2 all the way around and the moment the supercharger was installed the back end would slide out faster than a virgin on prom night. Had to switch to the RII and will probably switch again to MT ET Street SS
I'll get some new beauty shots when I'm not swamped with work and actually have some time to take her to the spot I like to use for photos.
Just got her back from a day at the spa!!! She also has her new front grill inserts in place which was done on Monday and her transmission tune which was...
I'm boosted as well and can say that even with the Nitto NT555 RII in the rear (at least in 305/35R19) you are going to experience some issues from a dig unless you have them nice and sticky warm. That means 20c temps outside, sunshine and burnouts.
I've heard that the MT ET Streest SS heat up...
Plugged in the RTD+ and uploaded a transmission focused tune that smooths out the horrible Roush calibration; was looking to enjoy non-drag strip driving in any other mode beyond DRIVE lol.
Then spent an hour testing out D, D/SPORT+, D/TRACK as well as S/SPORT+ and S/TRACK modes. Soooooooooo...
Uploaded the new transmission tune from @DRP Motorsports
Shifting is waaaay(to the 9th power) smoother in D/SPORT, D/TRACK, S/SPORT and S/TRACK. The car is actually quite enjoyable to drive now in those higher modes.
Let's see what's next on the calibration radar.
Saturday I had the B-130X blackvue battery installed. Supposed to be able to run both front and rear for about 19 hours or just the front for about 30 hours. Too tired of dealing with power-draw anxiety when the dashcam is supposed to turn off after 2h or the main battery going below 12v (based...
@Wengerd Performance / @DRP Motorsports
So looks like it can read it but the hardware I pick (298 and 298B) don't work. I may need to post on their forums to identify the PCM.
