Just get some metal spring clamps, thats what I did. That made me start thinking about installing my Steeda clutch fluid line that I’ve had in my tool chest for the past 3 years now. I‘ve been hesitant to install it because my OCD won’t allow me to do it, if it means marring up the supplied plastic clamps using pliers. It’s also a tight area to work in.
Got any pics of yours installed with the spring clamps? What size clamps and where did you purchase them?Just get some metal spring clamps, thats what I did.
I got this type (but I haven't fitted them yet) :Got any pics of yours installed with the spring clamps? What size clamps and where did you purchase them?
Copy that WD, thanks! I like those. I’ll see if I can find some.I got this type (but I haven't fitted them yet) :
WD
mine was weeping and I installed a 5/16 fuel injection hose clamp on it before I switched to the external reservoir and it stopped weeping. Need a fuel injection hose clamp so it doesn’t bite into the hose and clamps 360 degrees around.Copy that WD, thanks! I like those. I’ll see if I can find some.
After reading this thread, I went out and checked my line again. It’s all the way on, but it is weeping a small amount of fluid. It’s probably time I get on with it and install the upgraded line.
I'd have to find the box since I can't remember. I know I posted what I used in that "check clutch line at the master cylinder" megathread lolGot any pics of yours installed with the spring clamps? What size clamps and where did you purchase them?
