"Do you still have to pay for diagnostic work out of pocket or do they bill the warranty company for all diagnostic and actual work?"
It works just like factory warranty. Go to any Ford dealer and they fix it per the coverage level you buy. The "warranty company" is Ford.

These were the original 6GR 7 spoke wheels. OK wheels, but I ended up with a bent one. I just need the replacement and I can't get thru to Erick or anyone.
Has anyone actually been in contact with a live person there recently?
I have a need for a replacement wheel. Started discussing my replacement issue with Erick and the boss, Edgar Khechumyan, late last year. Due to special circumstances, they agreed to sell me a replacement at a reduced price...
from mumbles:
"I purchased.....wheels....from Paul at Need4Speed some time ago. Unfortunately, I ..... ordered a replacement from Erick at Need4Speed........I have sent PM's and emails to Need4Speed with no response. I have called them on both their toll-free and toll numbers on multiple...
If you actually have any R model, then it should have come with it. If you have a 15 Tech Pack (non R model), then it would have the eng oil cooler but would not have the trans/diff coolers. All models came with eng oil coolers. If your question is abt the trans cooler, then you need a different...
I would avoid 3rd party plans. The Ford ESP is good at any Ford dealer. My original warranty is up in a few months. I bought the car as a track toy and it will never see 36K miles while I own it. I have less than 3000 miles now and am considering the 8 year/36K mile premium plan with $50...
OK, so your different Mustangs behaved differently. Not surprising given the models you note.
Am not sure if you are referring to this issue specifically on those models, vs those cars in general. I did not say that it would necessarily be a problem, just that it would likely reduce the margin...
Some cars have this, but Ford SVT and Ford Performance vehicles don't have this problem. The calibrations of these cars are very tolerant of rotational differences front to rear. This is one of the big differences between FP vehicles and regular Ford Mustang GT's and other regular Fords.
OK...
Took a while getting thru all the hate mail here to see if anyone brought up another relevant point. Did not see it and I looked only briefly at the long article referenced just above, which may mention this.
Most of the technical part of this discussion centered on the diameter/circumference...
I had a similar problem (drips on floor near both front wheels) with mine. I thought it would be the sensor leak issue, but turned out to be the oil cooler sandwich above the filter was leaking. They replaced it and it seems all OK now. They even cleaned off the underside of the car, which was...
Excellent fix
Am curious to know how it holds up to the heat. Pls provide an update after you have a chance to run it a while. Thx for the report.
I cant recall what my dealer showed me, but it was a document showing they got 3 non-Rs and one R. The dealer you are working with should be able to produce some sort of document from their regional rep confirming their allocation.
You are rightfully concerned as there are so many stories on...
It will always be a long wait regardless, unless you pick one off a lot. I managed to find a reputable dealer who would not take a deposit until they had a confirmed allocation. YMMV. When I placed my deposit, I required it be fully documented and fully refundable for any reason.
Hi
The reason is the thick hub on the CF front wheels vs the thinner hub on these wheels. If still interested, pls provide zip code to est shipping. Let me know. Thx
EDIT: There are a few different nuts offered on this forum to address this. FYI
