Michigan Central. Ford, Farley and several of the Ford family members have posted several pictures on various social media the last few days. Looks like they did a beautiful job. I’ll be in Ann Arbor towards the end of July, will have to pop over to Detroit and check it out.On a side note, I am spending the day in Detroit and went by the new Ford building (the old historic train station).
Ford spend 1 billion rebuilding it.
Amazing and beautiful.
I'm just trying set reasonable expectations for the next race. A program like this takes 3 years to see fruit, usually. If you could even allow yourself to hope for a podium in the first year, you wouldn't be ballsy enough to think it would be at Lemans.I would ask why you think that. You don’t think they saw the same things you did (and probably more)? You don’t think they’ll make adjustments? Just trying to figure out your logic behind that statement.
Also some components of the rear suspension are illegal in almost all forms of motorsports. They were lucky to get the additional rear latches approved.
EVERYTHING they are running is homologated, which means a declared design with important dimensions frozen. I don't even know what you're talking about, but it's not part of the conversation. Those cars are legal in GT3 racing. All other forms of motorsports will have different rules. Also some components of the rear suspension are illegal in almost all forms of motorsports.
The next what?I'm just trying set reasonable expectations for the next race.
I'm talking about the active suspension. Like geez.EVERYTHING they are running is homologated, which means a declared design with important dimensions frozen. It is ONLY in the GTD!!!I'm talking about the active suspension. Like geez.
They're given a range of rear wing angles and the lowest angle is still too much.
There's an IMSA race at Watkins Glen on Sunday. That's what I'm talking about. In a month or so there's another WEC race. I'm also talking about that. The next what?
They took P3 and P4 at Le Mans.
1 car would possibly be an anomaly. 2 cars sequential? Coincidence? I don't think so.
OK, that's made by the same people who do the GT3 car, but it's completely different. I was talking about something completely different.I'm talking about the active suspension. Like geez.
There's a lot to that.As I'm sure the teams are as well. But hey, live in the moment and appreciate the result.
