After years of taking out the trunk floor for autocross and track days because it knocks around on course, I forgot to yesterday because of first event brain fog.

Then, I finally realized this is one of the easiest problems to solve permanently thanks to the modern miracle of Velcro.

Hopefully this 5 minute tech tip makes some else's life less annoying.

I'm annoyed that I actually put some velcro away this weekend after working on the car and didn't think of this.

I had a problem with the carpet trim panel just forward of that removable piece which I fixed with velcro.

But that thing still gets removed for events. Its a loose item and we dont need none of those.

One time I left an entire floor jack in the wheel well and went for a lap. Won’t make that mistake twice!

LOL, I did this a couple weeks before seeing this... had a hard time getting the left side to stick but eventually did after cleaning with alcohol.
