I believe the wife on occasion is faster :)

Great video, wish I could run at LS, so far away :(

So knock off 3 seconds, that puts you in the high 130's
you said your couple seconds off pros, that puts them in the R
mid 130's, gotta love that :)

Yeah, I would guess a pro is going to get a 1:36 or 1:37 in a non-technology car with the suspension set up for track use and no sound restriction. That's quick!

Another forum I am on has a rule...

You mention a wife you have to post pictures of the wife...
Sure thing, here you go. She's the one in the yellow helmet.

Did you have to do much to convince her to drive fast or dos she just wanna do it?
I can't imagine someone (male or female) getting to racing level skill via external coaxing. You either have the itch or you don't.

We met motorcycling, and we both owned yellow sports cars when we met. Coaxing has never entered the equation

This thing is a beast. Completely bone stock (suspension settings, even) it's running 1:40s pace on my second session. Brakes were unflappable, chassis was willing to rotate... beautiful, beautiful track car.

1. Why do you have to lift for sound?
2. Awesome wife!
3. Was that a mini van on the track?
4. Thanks for sharing!

Very cool. I'm set up for a Track Attack session at the Ford Motorsport facility at Salt Lake city.

You mean like the ones at 1:19, 2:29, 3:18 etc.? :D

The 3-2 shift entering T11 gave me trouble until the later sessions of the day.
No offense, but I don't think you're heel-toeing. At 1:19 you hit the rumple strips and there doesn't seem to be any "blip". There is a slight chirp of the tires which sounded like you let off the clutch, the revs weren't matched and the tires slightly broke loose. Then again at 1:47 you didn't heel-toe and there is another distinct chirp of the tires when you let off the clutch. I can't find any blip on your other time stamps either.

I mean, it is fine if you can't, or aren't that great at it yet. But come on man, don't pretend you are heel-toeing out there. This is what proper rev-matched heel-toe sounds like ;)

You're driving is very smooth though.

I've seen Ben's driving first hand. He knows what he's doing.

Indeed! Better than I could do by a serious chunk so I shall chose not to criticize.

I very much enjoyed the vid's and your wife, like my own, is officially a BAD ARSE! Congrats.
