oh no -- wait -- let's just keep putting a bunch of crap on our cars like fake scoops and such, that in no way will ever lead to additional performance. There's always that. Hell -- let's throw on some spinners and donk it out, while we're at it. It's not like Ford has any legit engineers or anything...
I'd love to see some tests -- or at least observations -- about under-hood temps, etc.

i would like some factory style vents, but with a taller "bump" out and larger vent opening. so pretty much like they are but stretched up about a 1"
Yes -- that, plus some well placed VG's would probably flow more air out.

vortex generators -- like those used on aircraft to enhance low speed performance, and increase the efficiency of the wings -- they create a vortex over the surface to keep air from moving randomly -- they reduce stall speed too. In our application here, they would increase flow behind the opening in the heat extractor, and help bring more hot air out -- this place makes kits for aircraft:

I know this is a cosmetic mod and all, but why miss out on a chance to increase performance?

Yeah, not a fan of the rivets either. If I get these, 1st step would be to take them apart & paint the mesh & rivets flat black ;)

There are no rivets, they are all bolts, I took mine apart and painted them gunmetal. I have been debating taking them back apart and doing all black though.

Well, I do believe those are again way out of place on this body 'stang - not to sound like a jerk or come across like a troll, not the purpose here - but look a little pep' boys APC / JC Whitney-ish for my taste an liking...

I also think thats gonna leave one hell of a mess under them. My .02.

As I always say though - its your car, do what makes you happy!

I actually think the mesh looks high-quality -- I am not really feeling them though.

Got mine in last week, I opted to cut away some extra metal to help with cooling. I live in a nice area and I don't DD my car much. It's mostly my HPDE car.
