Is anyone running this? I'm curious as to what horsepower it's putting out now.

Proflex e85, Soler 91mm TB, JLT Cold Air.

I added the Proflex first a couple years back. The car felt a little more alive running straight e85, but now with the added throttle body and intake, it feels like a whole new car. So much faster to 8000 rpms now and shifting into 2nd and 3rd takes a whole lot more focus not to lose traction.

These cars are known for being dogs down low. I'm just curious to see if anyone has ever dyno'd this setup?

Car is NOT tuned.

Just out of curiosity, do you have the JLT intake that doesnt require a tune?

Sounds like you should dyno that setup

is the proflex that device that claims you can run e85 without a tune? If so, it probably added no power

it adds a little power, because e85 gets power just by being e85.

e85 definitely adds power. Proflex doesn't claim you don't need a tune - you actually don't need a tune.

I was all in on proflex a few months ago but ther 10% gain claim is bogus. If you watch YouTube videos of guys installing it and doing a dyno it’s more like a 2-3% gain.

I suggest you get a tune for E85 for the max benefits of the new corn diet. Otherwise you won't get that 10+% increase in HP at the top end.

I know my Bullitt is no 350, but it does have the same intake manifold, throttle body and intake tube. I also run the Soler throttle body and it makes the Bullitt a different animal on E85 corn juice. I can only imagine what it can do with your 350.
Throttle control in track mode, requires more focus from the additional low-end torque of the Corn syrup and even more with the Soler. RPM's climb to the top faster then before as well. The stock 87mm throttle body also had a different sound at wide open throttle vs the Soler.

I was also thinking about getting the JLT intake, which does require a tune to correct the reading of the MAF.

Curiosity may have me get it dyno'd someday, but i can guarantee you there is a significant boost from e85 running with the Soler TB and JLT. I ran a half tank of e85 mix (just under 50%) and then filled the rest up today with e85. Now i'm right around 65%. The increase is crazy noticeable. I've never really had to worry about tires breaking loose too much while shifting. I'm guessing the Proflex really benefits from the air increase because this is not the same car. It seems that these mods are creating a synergistic effect. The whole definitely seems to be greater than it's parts.

For anyone interested, i highly recommend this. This is a great price for the TB.

I'd like to see it on the dyno vs stock (or 93). You could just be feeling the larger throttle body opening faster.

I agree with 526. I have the proflex and the soler TB but didn't think the jlt would make a significant difference on our cars. But just having gone back to 93 gas I can easily notice the difference in butt Dyno in the car. Never had a Dyno comparison done but it definitely more snappy and smoother using E85. From what I read E85 is comparable to 102 octane when around 80%. I would love to do a dyno comparison sometime.

It's hard to say. If anything the throttle seems a little snappier

The Soler TB make that big of a difference?
I have the TB and the controller. TBH, with just the TB I really didn’t notice much. However with the controller you can modify the throttle response and that is quite noticeable.

OTOH, getting tuned for E85 nets real gains in power even without modifications.
