July 2016 Mustang Sales Numbers (Updated with Charts)

They are having an issue with convertible tops on some of the 2016 Convertibles. According to a source from C6.com, Chevy people were removing the tops in the QC area. They DO NOT want a recall on the camaro right now. The Alpha program in general cost GM a lot of money.

There is a very alarming technique they used to save chassis weight. In order for a larger car like the Camaro to weigh less than the ATS doner car, some very important cuts had to be made....... or should I say they cut too much?

Quality is a very real issue now, I've seen the HELP threads.

Look at the overall big picture. Remember thePill said the target MSRP was $36,505 to $37,995 and they settled at $37,300. thePill also said the 2SS wasn't going to bust $40k. Unfortunately, some of the standard equipment that the 1SS was suppose to get went to the 2SS. The equipment that didn't make a 2SS went on the 1LE list or, as I call it, the 3SS. No new part numbers!!! So you got an extremely watered down 1SS with some pretty weak performance gear. With the removal of the sub-frame connectors, they finally got an SS down to 3700lbs... but man did it cost them :lol:

I love this time of the month, my guess 10500 for the mustang, 5200 for challenger and 4500 for the camaro. Suck it camaro6

This is the first decently profitable quarter for GM since the second quarter of 2012. The ignition switch literally destroyed GM...

I think Cardude is pretty close, Mustang 10,500 and camaro 4500.

The Mustang sold 300 cars yesterday according to Cars.com. 18,890 to 18,595 in just under 24 hours.

The Camaro's overstock increased from 25,250 to 25,310. That has been the steady trend, 50-100 cars are delivered to the dealerships a day.

Ford AutoNation in Houston used to have ton of Mustangs, as of now it only have 5 2016 Mustang and 7 2017 Mustang. Chevy AutoNation have 17 2016 Camaro on the lot.

*By comparison, 2 nearby Ford dealers have 9 and 6 new Stangs.

lots of camaros sitting on lots by me also, most dealers have 25 or so on the lot. not one 1ss either, all loaded 2ss with stickers all 47k+ lol
