So Ive been around these forums for a little while now and its amazing being around so many people who love the s550 as much as I do. when I was buying this car the only other car I considered was possibly a challenger scat pack but I couldn't get passed the size of that beast.

As ive met more people on the forums ive realized that the challenger and charger are very highly regarded here and even the Camaro gets a tiny bit of love here and there (which I don't understand because its hideous)

Anyway, my question to all of you is if you could not buy a muscle car but wanted a fun ride what would it be? I find myself falling in love with the new ford focus RS as of late. Also a Cadillac ATS seems like it would be a ton of fun as their chassis is just incredible.

So what would your pick be?

I can't think of anything if it don't have a V8.

I think a Chevy SS sedan or the old Pontiac G8 GT would be a blast for a 4 door family car. I have a friend who bought a used Buick LaCross Super. It has 4 doors and a 327. Sounds good and spins the front tires easy but it's front wheel drive which sucks LOL

Even though I can't imagine life without a V8, if they didn't exist I would probably go after a WRX STI or maybe an Evo, basically AWD Sports Car that can make a lot of power. Either that or Supra cause well that's been a dream of mine since I was a little kid.

I have a hard time narrowing down to a single car. So, I'm just going to list a few.

If I think with my heart: NSX, E30, E39 M5, Rx-7, e92 m3, e38 (I have no idea why I love these so much), S2000, mx-5, Supra.

If I think with my brain: CPO CTS-V, C6 GS, Focus RS, APR Golf R, CPO M3, C7, F10, Chevy SS, Jeep SRT, Evo X.

I'd say...

M3/M4, Fiesta ST, (Maybe) Focus RS, C7, R8, and a few others. I was attempting to be practical.

1st pick would be a Black Widow Edition Silverado.

2nd pick would be a Scat Pack Challenger.

If the Camaro SS wasn't so uncomfortable and ugly I'd take one of those if I had to pick a 3rd.

I don't think it's THAT ugly. Depends on the angle. It doesn't catch my eye like the Mustang. As for the ergonomics? I completely agree. It wasn't built for my size. I sat in it and was like, "Nope." I fit better in the C7 surprisingly.

I've already put 45K miles on my 2014 SS Sedan and still love it. I use to have a Pontiac GrandPrix GXP 4dr 5.3L V8 FWD. It came from the factory with wider front tires/rims than the rear.

If I couldn't have had a mustang or something I'd either have stayed with my BRZ of would have bought a used Cayman S or a 370z

I was considering the Focus RS. Also heavily shopping the new gen WRX/STI.

I'd love to have my old hatchback 13 STI.

I could also see myself in a Caterham, Exige or Elise, with a practical daily.
