Went in for emissions and all systems not ready. Emission place gave me a OBD dongle and said when the light turns green your ready. Said I need to go through a drive cycle until it’s ready. I have put 240 miles on since tune loaded, combo of short trips, medium trips, freeway and surface streets. How long does it take to complete a drive cycle?

I have a 2019 GT PP1 A10 with a Vortech. It has a larger pulley(8 PSI), still has cats and runs on pump 91 and octane booster when at the road track. I reached out to my tuner and asked if tune was preventing readiness and they sent me an updated tune where the only change was they turned on adaptive learning. I have put on the 240 miles listed above since flashing that tune. Am I looking at 400 miles for a cycle?? Just do not want to drive endlessly if there may be another issue. Thanks

Apparently:
Drive at various speeds: Drive at a steady speed of 50-55 mph for 10-15 minutes, at 40-45 mph for 10-15 minutes, at 30-35 mph for 10-15 minutes, then accelerate to 60 mph and then decelerate to 20 mph for 2-3 times. Drive at a steady speed of 55 mph for 5-10 minutes. Drive in stop-and-go traffic for 5-10 minutes

literally his first sentence.
Lol, "all systems" doesn't necessarily mean all. I could totally see someone saying it like that to mean "not all", which indicates one are more aren't passing.

If it's actually all of them after that many miles it's probably something with the tune.

100% sure. I am original owner. All emission systems intact. During the Summer I had the battery disconnected for 5 weeks while I installed parts. Only put less than 500 miles on car since this all began. Then switched tune after first not ready report from emissions and have put 240 on since then. My car would be Carb compliant but I decided to go with a custom tune and not Vortech’s.

This is Ford Motors Drive Cycle Readiness Procedure, as outlined in a smog emissions station handbook:

"Other Fords" (As in Mustang)

Prequisites: Cold Start, Fuel level between 15% and 85%. All accessories off

Start the vehicle and idle for 4 minutes.
Idle the vehicle in Drive for 1 minute.
Drive towards an empty street or highway, and accelerate to 45 mph slowly. Stay in second gear for 5 seconds during this acceleration. Get to the 5th gear.
Maintain a 45 mph speed for 30 seconds
Stop the vehicle.
Idle the vehicle in Drive for 1 minute.
Drive at 25 mph and drive for 15 minutes at speeds between 15-35 mph. Within this time, stop at least 5 times, and have at least 3 periods of steady speed for 90 second durations.

Drive the vehicle between 45-60mph for 8 minutes.
Maintain a steady speed between 45-60mph for 5 minutes.
Drive the vehicle between 45-60mph for 8 minutes.
Stop the vehicle and idle for 40 seconds.

This completes the Ford Motors Drive Cycle Readiness Procedure.

Mine take 400+ miles before evap finally clears. Everything else goes green pretty quick. If you have a scanner, plug it in to see how many haven't cleared. If it's only 1 and no check engine light, your good for emissions in AZ.

So basically impossible unless you have a dyno, or a closed course like Charlotte motor speedway.

Went through this last year with a 350R. I removed a CAI in reinstalled the OEM tune. Failed emissions "Not Ready". Went on a few local rides and it didn't clear all the codes. Then did a 110 mile round trip doing all the stop and go's, slow steady acceleration, 3/4 tank, bla bla bla. It finally cleared. I was monitoring the codes via an NGuage. If your car isn't modified, it will clear.
