how do you close your door?

So, forgive me but my car is dusty more often than I'd like. Waiting for the rains to wash all the dirt/dust/road grime away from the winter.

I can't stand putting my fingers on my shiny dusty paint every time I close my door. I began using the window but notice it isn't the most rigid thing so thinking that might not be the best thing. Anyone have a suggestion other than washing it, which I plan to do again this weekend, so it will be good for a day or two.

best practice could be to close it where you can tap to lock it on the handle. or use your shirt/micro towel
