This just feels so insane.I think around 300 miles in city, 100 miles on highway. Fresh oil change before that too.

How much is in there? If that’s a JLT, probably a 3oz can.
About a quarter ounce in there?
Is it all oil? Appears to be.

Purchase a see-thru beaker with graduations, like this. Keep track of miles and amount accumulated.

https://www.amazon.com/Anchor-Hocki...sprefix=anchor+hocking+5+ounce,aps,100&sr=8-1

JLT 3 oz.
About 1/4-1/2 oz.
All oil, pure oil. I saw some super teeny tiny gold flakes. (EDIT: the flakes are just the ridges on the bottom of the can I believe lol. I wish my eyes hadn’t gotten so bad.)
Will do.

I see you're in CA. FWIW, I have JLT on my winter vehicle, but I live in WI. From about October-April, mine will accumulate 95% water (simple condensation). It'll catch about 1 oz per 1K miles.

IIRC, the 3.7 is a very good engine.

Yes, and my car is parked outside. It has rained quite a bit, but the oil was pure oil thankfully.

Noted! Then I should be safe.

Its also super reliable for its 35k miles so far, as well as getting 16mpg city and 34+mpg highway.
Once hit 44mpg highway only on a 1k mile trip.

Yes, the 3.7 is a god engine that is hidden and unloved in the performance world. Im at around 340-350 crank supposedly, though I need to get dynoed. Apparently many don’t dyno these cars at all, so I will make sure to post when I do (Idk when that will be).

Trying to build a monster track car.
