Anyone find out the total base gt350R production numbers, for all years combined?
Would be interesting to get find out and also with break down by color options.
didn't know if anyone went thru the work. I did a google search and nothing came up.
if not, maybe this could be a winter project for me .

This data has mostly been posted here. As a base R owner, I am also interested. Here is a close summary:

2015: I think there were 6 base Rs of the 37 Rs built
2016: There were 64 base Rs of around 550 total Rs
2017: There were 942 total Rs. When they posted the total of ~906 Rs (close to end of year), there were 54 base Rs reported.
2018: Have not seen any 2018 figures. But due to back up cameras required as of May 2018, base R production was stopped early. I think 2018 also had a larger number of Rs (closer to MY17 than 16)

This would suggest a total (with estimates for MY17/18) of 6+64+60+50 totaling around 180. They are pretty rare.

Tom, I would suggest that the total number of 920A Base models might possibly be even less than you suggest (~135 to ~140?) with the wildcard being the number of Base R's built for the 2018MY.

Total - 114

The above 3MY's are confirmed production numbers from Ford.

With respect to the number of 2018 MY Base R's built prior to the April 30, 2018 deadline what I do know is that Flat Rock produced only 2 Base cars for Canada but the big question is how many were produced for America prior to the April 30th deadline?

In 2016 the U.S. got 452 R's, Canada received 70 R's with 4 R's being exported to I believe the U.S. Virgin Islands.

During 2017 the U.S. got 835 R's, Canada received 105 R's with only 2 R's being exported.

Based on the above production numbers and with the last Base R model possibly being assembled at FR on Friday, April 28th I would suggest that only ~25 Base R's were built in total for the 2018MY.

Obviously I have been wrong numerous times before and must be clear that this is pure speculation on my part with respect to Base R models assembled for the 2018MY.

In any event whatever the final production numbers are they are very rare Pony's indeed especially if we look at the total production numbers of ~19,000 GT350/R's over the last few years.

I expect we will see confirmed production numbers for all 2018MY GT350/R's within the next month or so.

Cool find Harold and if this was one of the '66 GT350 carry over cars that came with the rear seat delete that is even better yet as for 1966 all GT350's came with a back seat unless ordered as a delete back seat car like all 1965 cars.

That is my understanding as well.

If that is indeed the case then there will have been 2134 R's built between the 2015 and 2018 MY's.

That was the last one and it was delivered to one of our forum members just a few days ago.

Im also interested in this. I was told by a local fp guy that stops at my dealer that they made roughly 400 2018 MY R's. No way for me to validate.

Mine may be found as a non numbers matching car, maybe a 5.2 FPC or a 5.2 CPC. Hopefully she will hold up until I'm gone.
Just did my 5th oil change on it today. still only 4,000 miles on the odometer.
