Wish my framing packages only jumped by that much. That’s pretty minimal considering.

The "thousands" increases were already done. This is the beginning of death by 1,000 cuts....numerous small increases over a short period of time that eases the pain such that you hear "sheeit....that ain't nuthin' to get all worked up over."

Bah, just kidding. Ford will ensure that no dealer will ever be able to ADM their cars/trucks ever again and they will discount the shit out of everything forthwith.

That’s piss-ant. Almost not worth the paperwork. I would have expected in the thousands.
The car has increased pretty significantly compared to what we’ve seen historically. My 2020 car was $79,xxx. The same exact build is now $86,675. That’s a big difference given that we’ve seen no meaningful changes or updates.

Not even close to inflation rate, nor eating into ADMs…..
Just like the ‘05 & ‘06 Ford GT’s where the MSRP was too low, and they jacked it up quickly.

I'm surprised the increases are that low. I realize inflation affects everything, but with only a few hundred dollars on vehicles costing tens of thousands, I'm thinking fuel and transport are driving this increase, while parts costs drove the earlier ones.

Either way, Thank You for the insight.

I’ll report back but I signed on and deposited $5k on my ‘22 back in November. My window sticker just went live and it’ll be built next week. Current MSRP is over $4000 more than when ordered. I made no changes to spec. Dealer GM said it’s price protected at my original MSRP but I guess we’ll see.
Any insight?

You are price protected. You'll pay what the price was at the time you ordered.

That happened to me once. The dealership should honor the price.

I believe it's based on the price when the order was placed. Thats what my dealer explained anyway. I did get locked at a lower price myself.

Yes, I held them to the order price.
