A few runs against my sons c7.

I'm impressed with how my sons stock 2014 c7 stingray with manual 7 speed runs from a roll. He no lift shifts that thing. I'm still on 373 gears. So I'm in 4th to his 2nd gear. I have to roll in to it from 4th if I hit it hard at top of 4th it will kick the tires out. He's stock to my 710rwhp. I need to get back on dyno to see if she's still putting close to that down. Once I hit 6th she stops pulling so I just let off. I can't wait to get some 331 gears in it. Still stock mt82 on stock clutch with mgw race spec. Figured I'd pull harder but by 3rd pull I was getting heat soaked. He puts a blower on that c7 I'm screwed. Sometimes wish I had a a10 for the highway runs. Pulled vids off his factory dash cam.

I looked for a clean C7 GS when I was in the market for a mid-life crisis mobile, couldn't find any used for less than I would pay for my mustang new with extended warranty.

In retrospect, I still kinda wished I'd gone for the C7.

I can't with these 373s. Would prob already be around 6krpms plus it will blow the tires off. I have 305 nitto g2 on the rear. But It would just kick the car out if I punched it in 3rd.

I'll have to try it. But traction is another thing. I never had 3rd gear hold without back peddling. I think these nitto g2s sucks balls.

I totally agree. Either I'm down on power. Or c7 is punching way above it's weight. I was starting to pull decently over. 100mph. Just sucks having to pedal car anything below the 1st 3 gears. But I'm very impressed with his c7.

I agree. I'm gonna have to hit a dyno just to see if anythings going on.

I feel your pain. I originally went G2 all the way around and the moment the supercharger was installed the back end would slide out faster than a virgin on prom night. Had to switch to the RII and will probably switch again to MT ET Street SS
