UPDATE: Well, so much for FORD "expediting" the release of my car from the rail yard. The release last Friday turned out to be bullsh*t as yesterday I drove over to the rail yard and there sat 0837...where it had been for the previous 48 days. I wrote the dealer this morning...Day 50..and was told later this afternoon that it should be delivered to them tomorrow...but no guarantees. What a crock of "sh*t". So much for trusting Ford to do the right thing. Oh, and the rear shocks are "Not available" in the US. Guess Ford wil have to supply them from the parts bin at Flat Rock. One of the worst buying experiences I've ever had.
I wonder if it has actually been inspected or if they just assumed the shocks were damaged?

Yep, Ford. At least you know where your car is and you can go visit it from time to time. You have to realize you are only buying a Mustang. What were you expecting? You should be thankful for the opportunity to have such a coveted car that you have to jump thru hoops for and have to play the 3 ring circus game to get it. All for the measily price of over 100K. I say it again, Ford, and especially my good friends over at Penske, you suck.

If only there were a dislike button. So sorry for your ordeal on this. It shouldn’t be this hard. Hoping for good news soon!

@kilobravo, if you could be so kind, and ask your avatar to take off the shoulder straps. They appear to be causing a rash on her neck. Thank you.

They have to be there, if they were off and a bump was hit while driving she would knock herself out. :cwl:

Jaime: I WISH I could comply with your request but I do believe management would frown on it.

Good eye deer to copy the image since I tend to change 'em frequently. :-)

Your statement has merit. However, it is a risk I am willing to take.......

I dont know the green belts don't really go with the outfit...maybe ALL the belts need to be removed.

So how many weeks did you spend in the hole?
3 weeks and 3 days in total. Not to bad considering what you and others have gone through.

Congrats John!
Thank you sir!

FINALLY, John and hopefully, it won't be long now.
Thanks. Ordered on 8/19/19, almost to my anniversary. Hoping for a fast and safe delivery.

Now, I just need to finish prepping my garage. Cleaned it out 2 weeks ago. Next is moving the storage wall to the other side. Then building a wall to separate it from all the kids toys and other junk.

Got to protect my girl.

Chief: I don't know what to say except I'm sorry.
Hey KB, I am wondering if Takata made your lovely avatar's "airbags"? If they did, I may need to submit a recall notice so they can be inspected to determine if replacement is warranted!

My car was delivered on July 14th and as of today my owner's supplement has not arrived.

Does anybody know what the current turnaround time is for the kits these days?

Chatted with Ford Performance this morning but the person who would know wasn't available so I figured I would turn to the forum for some possible answers.
