I wonder if it has actually been inspected or if they just assumed the shocks were damaged?UPDATE: Well, so much for FORD "expediting" the release of my car from the rail yard. The release last Friday turned out to be bullsh*t as yesterday I drove over to the rail yard and there sat 0837...where it had been for the previous 48 days. I wrote the dealer this morning...Day 50..and was told later this afternoon that it should be delivered to them tomorrow...but no guarantees. What a crock of "sh*t". So much for trusting Ford to do the right thing. Oh, and the rear shocks are "Not available" in the US. Guess Ford wil have to supply them from the parts bin at Flat Rock. One of the worst buying experiences I've ever had.
