Hi,

To the guys and gals who ordered 2016's, have the panel issues and paint problems been sorted out?

I waited for a 2016 mid cycle and placed an order to alleviate this QC issue.

I'm hoping once it arrives at the dealer, there will be no adjustments required.

Perhaps I am dreaming...

Every panel on my car is pretty much perfectly aligned. Actually everything with the car is perfect so far. There was a delay with releasing my car from the factory so I'm thinking they possibly pulled it for a thorough quality inspection or something.

My '16 is very good, not perfect, but not enough to mess with. Built in August 2015.

I'm considerably picky, and more than likely will bring a paint micrometer and caliper to measure paint and panels before signing delivery.

I don't think my dealership will be to fond of this.

Don't take delivery if you aren't satisfied with the alignment. I'm mid claims process with Ford having mine fixed at a secondary ford body shop since my dealership refuses to fix it. Be a stickler. With the cost you're paying it should be fit well.

Im waiting for a break from school to get an entirely new front fascia because mine is warped beyond repair, and my rear fender isn't properly aligned. its really minor and no one knows its wrong but me, but still.

If you get a perfect one its because the dealer gave a damn and corrected it before you got it. Ford has not improved their QC at all.

My SIL has some POS Kia box (with complex panels) she paid about $20K for & it's panels fit perfect. My 13 yr old G35 (with some very complex curves especially the fenders & hood) is perfect as well.

There is no excuse for the crappy F&F on these cars, it's like some throw back to the 80's or something.
