Yeah I did find and buy a new O-Ring kit. I just don't want to put it all back together if that O-ring needs some kind of support gasket sitting in front of it. If it needs the gasket I will just buy a whole new T-connector.
I replaced the water pump in my 16 GT a few months back and have recently developed a very slow leak at the T-connector between the connector and the thermostat housing. I think when I did the job there was some kind of gasket sitting in front of the O-ring that went flying but I wasn't sure...
My car has an issue where when it's under 1/4 tank it will at some point suddenly drop to 0 miles to E and fuel gauge will go deep into the E. When I fill up at this point it still has 2-3 gallons in the tank. First couple times it happened it scared the crap out of me but now I'm aware I have...
I went through and downloaded every pdf file from that site and compiled them into a single pdf with bookmarks. What a PITA but this is invaluable to have so thanks for the link OP. This download link should be good for a week: https://we.tl/t-hNTSef3FXg
My 16 GT did the exact same thing today on a road trip. Was showing 1/4 tank and all of a sudden I look down and says low fuel 5 miles left and indicator is on E. I limped to the next exit gas station and was only able to put 11 gallons in. Freaked me out hope it doesn't happen anymore.
The non-PP spare will fit in the rear but not in the front even with a spacer. You would need to put the rear tire on the front with a spacer and then put the spare on the rear. You need a 5/8" spacer to put the rear wheel on the front. I think it actually isn't required but you might rub...
I bought the spare tire kit for the regular non-PP stang on ebay for $200 along with a 1/4" spacer. If I ever get a flat on the front I will need to move the back tire to the front with the spacer and put the spare in the back. Not ideal but better than being stranded for hours and will get me...
3600 miles on mine since 01/16. It's weekend toy and I work remotely from home. Curious do any of you low mile guys get a break on insurance because you barely drive the car? I haven't really inquired about it with State Farm and pay around $1000/year.
Well for me auto means nothing because I'd never even consider one unless I was physically incapable of driving a stick.
Guess we will need to wait and see what the real world results are. I highly doubt a CAI is going to give much gains in the 18 though. The stock intake is pretty...
I see the 18 as a 15-17 that comes with a really good tune from the factory. A tune isn't going to improve things much for the 18 while a good tune for the 15 will close that gap quite a bit. In reality how much of these gains is actually due to DI vs optimized tuning? In addition you get...
My sin is I don't drive the car enough. I've had it since 01/16 and only has <3000 miles on it. I work from home and usually will just use it on the weekend if we hit the beach or go out with friends. Once in a while I'll go out for a little spirited drive during the week or on the weekend...
