If they don't have the part, they can't fix it. Cancel your order and just go buy something off a dealer's lot before you have a heart attack.

All in asking for is a truthful answer. If it is something like a 6 hour fix then I don't want it.

Dude. How can you defend that part comment if they are telling others they are building theirs? If some of our cars are pulled off for repairs then I and you deserve an honest answer. Not a lie and say it's shipping. Stop all production and fix the bad ones first

Dude, I'm not defending anything - only stating what logically could be happening. Maybe the part has been upgraded and only fits newer cars, so special parts need to be made for the older ones. Plus, Ford is not going to shut down a production line that spits out a car every 30 seconds to steal parts to fix defective cars. That makes no economic sense, and the repairs happen in a separate shop anyway.

Hopefully things are picking up for cars that don't have a QC issue. My car was built 11/13 and released to shipping 11/17; estimated delivery is 12/2-12/8. That means more than 7 months from order to delivery, which is still within Ford's original timeframe of "fall 2015." Maybe somebody who's just taken delivery can chime in, but right now delivery time after the car is built seems to be taking 20-30 days.
