You guys are right, after actually sitting in it and just experiencing a miniscule fraction of what this car has to offer, I don't think there is any way I can walk away from it.
Yup. I couldn't imagine how it would sound under load. To me the sound was kinda AMG meets Ferrarri. Wasn't my car, so I only rev'd it to 2.5K, but that was more than enough. WOW!!
So I went to talk to my MAS Rep about canceling my order and to see what if any penalties/charges would apply. They just happened to have one of the two that were in the last lottery. They let me turn it on, put it in sport exhaust and rev it a little. This car sounds SOOO good, I don't think...
I did/still am. I have to make my decision by tomorrow. But, if for some weird reason I can't get the 3k deposit back, than there is no choice to make, I won't throw away 3k. I really don't even want to go in to talk the the MAS rep because if he tells me that the car is already on the boat...
Not gonna lie, Limpmodegate has me a bit worried. Im not getting out of my order because it's not a track pack, but rather because I don't think the Tech Pack/base model perform as they should. I believe any thing with the name Shelby GT350 should at least have a standard level of performance...
If you guys know of anyone in Europe that is still interested in a GT350 please PM me. I might be dropping out of my order. It's a AG Tech Pack with black stripes/roof. It's sitting at the Baltimore right now, should be in Germany later this month.

Are you effing serious? We are talking different options on a GT350...they should all be track capable. There is no question the the track pack should be the most capable of all, there is only question as to how...
Have you seen the "how many 350s produced to date" thread just below this? Base/Tech cars make up 72% while Track Pack's make up only 27%. That's more more than a 2 to 1 ratio of base/tech vs track cars. On top of that Ford changed the available options on a 2 yr production cycle vehicle...
What does an overheating transmission have to do with emissions and fuel economy? Last time I checked we were talking about the transmission not the engine.
You are correct, you can register new cars sight unseen. It only becomes an issue if the polizei catch you or if you have an accident. Even though the rule of thumb is Oct-Apr, you can't get ticketed if the Temp is over 45F.
Spot on comment! I've had GTIs, Golf Rs, S4s and the CLA 45 AMG I just sold to get the GT350 do 20 minute sessions no problem. If the Mustang GT PP, or any other newer Mustang for that matter can do a 20 minute session and not have the transmission overheat, then it's definitely a design flaw...
Thats exactly the one!. It looks to be in production now and the system still has it going to your dealer in N.C. hopefully I MAS can get it switched so it goes straight to the port. Your master design is on point, just the way I would have spec'd it. I'm coming from a CLA45 AMG, the...
