Which will come on sooner , g2 or g3 ?

I was having a discussion with a buddy that wants to fit a ess G3.
I told him if he doesn’t want more than 7psi, 125 mm, the g2 would be better has it has less parasitic drag so woul have a better curve below say 4000rpm. I’d assume the a g3 would beat it from 4 to 7,5 k rpm.
Am I correct ?

G3 outperforms the G2 in every metric regardless of pulley size. If his budget allows it go with the G3.

I switched from a G2 to a G3 back in the fall and can also confirm the G3 just feels stronger in all aspects.
