I do the same. I just opened the latch handle and realized the handle cannot be returned to its stowed position unless you open the top a few inches, stop it and then twist and return the handle to its stowed position -an awkward process. The owners manual doesn’t state whether to keep the latch down or up but apparently it’s designed to stay down and not interfere with the top stowing properly.I leave it open with the handle down. When I close it, I just turn and lock it back. Never had an issue.
Unrelated, but why does the stereo stop playing for an instant when the top is relatched?
Straight from the manual:Unrelated, but why does the stereo stop playing for an instant when the top is relatched?
Something that nobody reads evidently.... LOL. :cheers:What is this thing you call the “Manual”?
Come on Bob, I know you've read it cover to cover! What is this thing you call the “Manual”?
Another little gem is the "secret" compartment where they stow away the manual... when I bought my coupe I told the dealer that I never received a manual.. so they sent me a new copy. A few weeks later I was watching a you tube video and someone demonstrated where the manual was and how to open the top hatch of the glove box... :shrug:Come on Bob, I know you've read it cover to cover!
I actually found the spot to stow the manual right away because my 2011 had a spot to stow it in a similar spot. No need to read the manual for that lol. One day I will thumb through the manual.Another little gem is the "secret" compartment where they stow away the manual... when I bought my coupe I told the dealer that I never received a manual.. so they sent me a new copy.
