Okay, I don't qualify, but I was wondering how many forum members under the age of 62 own S550 Mustangs.
I'd like to know your approximate age, rather you have an Ecoboost or a GT, and why you chose a Mustang.

I'm not associated with ANY company, marketing research, or any data collection firm. I just thought that since there was almost the same question for seniors, I'd like to know how the S550 fares with non-seniors, and why.

Have fun with it.

I'll even start out.

I'm 65+, I have a 2019 GT Premium PP2, and I got it because I loved my 2013 GT premium Brembo, but the 19 PP2 took care of issues I had with the 13's suspension.
57, 2015 GT Premium convertible, Guard. I've owned 2011 and 2012 convertibles, moved up to the 2015 for the advanced tech, especially the independent rear.

I'm 62, replaced my 2008 V6 convertible in dark candy apple red with a 2018 Ecoboost 201A coupe in lightning blue. Drove it Saturday for the first time in 2 weeks because of I have been working from home.

GG Vert with saddle tan interior. If I had to get a s550 Vert, this would be it. Very nice @Tarby07.
Thank you. I feel the same. I was looking for a Competition Orange, but when I found this color/ interior combo, I was sold. Had to drive from Virginia to New Jersey to get it, from a Volvo dealer, but worth it

I'm in just under the wire!
Picked up my 2016 GT four weeks ago. Had to have the V8, grew up driving a couple of Stangs and a Cougar with it. Love the feel and the sound, nothing like it.

I've always loved Mustangs. Timing never seemed right and couldn't really do a coupe. Ever since the Mustang evolved with an IRS, I have been keeping a much closer eye on them. I recently got the opportunity to get one and did not waste one second to grab it. They are music to my ears. Love my '19.

Alright, 27 here, been driving Mustangs since I was 21 after living my teen years driving 4cyl turbo cars from japan (Lancer turbo, Evo etc). Started with a 2013 V6 base manual, moved to the S550 platform with a 2015 V6 manual for a good year, then jumped to a GT base manual since I was confident in my driving skills with a RWD car by then enough to own a lund tuned intake S550.

Recently, I was looking into jumping to either a V6TT car or a V8 car that was sportier/faster than a base GT.

Looked at GT350's and while they look and sound amazing, the power difference from my intake/tuned GT wasn't really there (I kept up with 1 multiple times a couple of years ago when a friend owned it before trading for a 2018 A10 to twin turbo, go figure?) The insurance cost vs a GT was through the roof, really not worth it for me if you also consider the engine issues that have been a recurrent theme with Flat plane voodoos.

Looked at a 2017+ Raptor, quite honestly, if starting a family was in plans for the next 10 years, this would be my way to go, space for plenty of people and a hell lot of fun to drive. Just not fast or sharp enough to be what I wanted at this time.

Looked at other brands and to be honest, wasn't impressed unless I go for the flagships and there we go again with the insurance premiums being insane for a pre 30 single male.

Anyhow, bought a house, went to the local ford dealer and found a 1 owner used 2016 Roush stage 3 manual that looked to be in excellent shape, 5k miles and hell the car even had a country music CD in the CD tray (CD's in 2020 WHAT THE HELL). After negotiating and getting a price that I was comfortable with, brought it home. Not knowing much about Roush cars other than they are a Gt Premium with PP and supercharged, it fit right in the ballpark of what I was looking for. Upon further examining the car I found that the previous owner had installed the Phase 2 package on the car so it's supposed to be rated at 727hp.

It's a blast to drive and I hope it lasts me a long time until the time comes to move on to another platform, one thing is for sure though, it's gonna be American :flag::muscle:

52 , being a Ford tech for 30 plus years , I was fortunate enough to get to drive a lot of mustangs . When the 6g came out I had a hard time with the way the front looked , but loved the hips . After driving them fell in love . With the kids gone bought my first mustang , not my first Ford . Now with all the mods it is one hell of a street sleeper.
