  1. Active Exhaust on 2017 GT

Thanks for the great write up! It looks like I have some research to do on the control unit and valve actuator kits. I have had Borla exhausts on some other Mustangs and loved them so I can’t see not liking the ones you mentioned. They’re about $1,700 over here. If I have some questions as I...
  2. Active Exhaust on 2017 GT

Hey there, I need to start my car early, and with just Roush axle backs it's loud enough to wake people up. I'd like to install an active exhaust setup on it for the summer and I'm wondering if anyone else has done this? I've seen some Roush kits but I'm not sure if it's everything that will...
  3. Do you ride stock, lowered or aired out?

Thanks for the input. I really like the Stance of Orange5Fifty. I may go much more aggressive than I thought. I feel if I go minimal I'll just come back and go more aggressive later.
  4. Do you ride stock, lowered or aired out?

Is this what you're recommending? https://accessories.ford.com/products/2015-2021-mustang-track-strut-and-shock-kit and a set of springs or this...
  5. Do you ride stock, lowered or aired out?

I currently have a stock suspension 2017 GT PP1. I drive the car to/from work and enjoy spirited rides on the weekend. It's not a daily driver and I also no not track the car. I want to lower it like an inch and was thinking about the Steeda Progressive springs. However, with some research it...
  6. Bama and Gen 3 intake manifold

Watching the VPM video again and I see some flaws with their analysis. First, they tested on a car with long tube headers. They also didn't make mention of a different tune for each manifold. I know you need to do a tune when going from the 2017 manifold to an 18 or GT350. Steeda has a video...
  7. Bama and Gen 3 intake manifold

I watched VMP’s comparison of intakes and saw the tq gains of the truck manifold. However, I do like to wind the motor to redline so I wouldn’t want the car to fall on its face at 6k rpm’s. I don’t do track driving, yet, but i would love to get there one day. I’d also like to take the car to...
  8. Bama and Gen 3 intake manifold

Great information, thanks for all that!! One last question. For street driving do you think it’s worth it to swap the manifold?
  9. Bama and Gen 3 intake manifold

Thanks for the pic with the color coding. I’ll pop my hood tomorrow and compare.
  10. Bama and Gen 3 intake manifold

All good, I’m not in a hurry.
  11. Bama and Gen 3 intake manifold

That’s be awesome if you could!!
  12. Bama and Gen 3 intake manifold

Thanks both for your replies. I'm going to look into both options and see what will work best. I gotta see what the install of the GT350 manifold looks like as I know there is some modification of vacuum lines and extending a wiring harness.
  13. Bama and Gen 3 intake manifold

Interesting, does the spacer act like a reducer for the stock TB?
  14. Bama and Gen 3 intake manifold

Hey all, I have a 2017 Mustang GT and the first thing I did was a JLT CAI with the Bama tuner and mail-order tune. I got it all through American Muscle with the free tunes for life. Well, I went to get the Gen 3 Intake Manifold for my can and asked about updating my tune and Bama said they don't...
  15. Winterize Question - Parking Brake, Leave in Gear or Wheel Chocks?

Why do you guys recommend a full tank of gas for winter storage?
  16. Those with Short Shifters

When you were installing did you take the exhaust and driveshaft down for easier access?
  17. Those with Short Shifters

    What did you like better?
  18. Those with Short Shifters

Right now I have the stock shifter and don't know if I should just do the Barton shifter bracket or go all-in with the MGW shifter. Did anyone start with the Barton shifter bracket and like it? Or start with it then go to MGW after?
