Seven years of ownership happened to hit the lock button on the key fob at night with the door open and I just noticed that a little red light comes on on the door where the retractable lock on older cars used to exist! What attention to detail. Car continues to amaze me after 57,000 miles.
Can you expound a bit more on where this is located? Picture?

Leaving Wednesday morning for a bucket list trip. Charleston SC to Elkhart Lake WI to track Road America. Meeting friends in Nashville tomorrow night then headed north Thursday. Hoping for safe and efficient travel and no rain at the track!

Ran some Scotty Kilmer approved ATS Chemical 505 through the car today. Changed the oil. We'll see if it really loosens up those pesky low tension rings a bit.

@Sargent1 What all did you have to do to get that thing on a U-Haul trailer?

Sargent…are you military in the Charelston area?

@Sargent1 I had mine on a U-Haul trailer as well. It was irritating to figure out the right combo lol. Basically some stacked 2x12s, backing the tow vehicle up on ramps, then a 2x12 under the front to get the splitter up over the front edge of the trailer. Once we got the combo right it wasn’t too bad.

I've finally been able to drive my car again after getting it back to stock last Friday following 3 weeks of a massive debacle with the SPL LCAs that I bought; I had the mounting studs snap on me twice after install.

My 2 year old loves this car and every day over those three weeks she was asking me "Where is the red car? Is the red car still broken? Fix it Daddy." It was freakin' gut wrenching.

Anyway, it was a huge mess but I was able to get it back to stock (I had Cortex bearings installed in the front LCAs) and I've been driving it every day since. I had to miss an SCCA HPDE event at Summit Point which sucks but at least it is back on the road now.

Exactly as Cobrafreak1996 described worked very well. Mine has 10mm spacers on front and still plenty space. I’m former Navy in Charleston. Sargent is my last name.

590 miles today. The ST works fine for towing. Targeting Janesville WI tomorrow.

No doubt that the ST will pull it. If you are going to make it a habit, you might want to consider adding an electronic trailer brake control for safety sake.
