whelp this was unexpected. yes going to dip the orange vents on the cowl you see from driver seats asap.

i'm not 100% sold on this as it still needs some paint matching (least of my worries) but it's definitely something I'll have to get used too.

I love trufiber, but am unsure if those hood. Probably need to see her in person, but to my eye it is not as striking N and does not flow with the lines of the car like thier version for the 13/14 did...

It flows exactly with the car. It's literally the same hood just taller in the center

I just really loved the stock hood and I got this hood unexpectedly off a resale. It just feels too old school for me atm but the car looks like a drag car now that's for sure.

About to drive it for real in a couple of minutes but right now leaning on taking it off and putting stock back on.

I haven't been a fan of the roush on the s550 until I saw yours without the useless vents. It looks soooo good with just the bumper.

it's coming off if anyone wants it. local though(i'm in Lexington sc). I'm the 2nd owner, 1st owner had it on for about a month. I'll sell it cheaper than you can get it unpainted. it does have it's flaws on the paint job and isn't a match but not like you can't paint it again or paint it another color.

If I were you I'd keep it so I could switch it on whenever I felt like spicing things up, for meets, shows etc. Sounds like you got it for a good price.

back to normal for now

I took it to a friend's shop today to see about trying to get it to match better. they didn't want to even touch the car unless I let them paint about half of the damn car... i was like NOPE that's a brand new roush fascia painted by roush that's two weeks old!

I'm going to have to try to find a painter that will try to make it match. Roush matching is so damn close, that's all i'm asking for is to match like roush.

Now that I have the hood off i realize i miss it a little bit already but just personal pet peeve of mine about the paint match being off.
