You might want to try re-uploading the picture. I'm curious to see how it's sitting.
Yea, wouldn't mind see another Bubble boy GT350, it's so funny and functional at the same time

Mine is the bubble boy car. It is the same picture as I posted in that thread. It didn't load properly this time.

9 months is nothing.

Let your wife keep the car. It will help her stay connected with a part of you. Trust your wife to drive it 1x a month or so, and if she wrecks it, big deal. It's just a freakin car.

And thankyou for your service sir.
Agreed. Let her drive or not to her comfort level. It's only 9 months. Thanks to you and yours for your service.

Think about this, a lot of vehicles end up sitting on dealer lots for that amount of time with no ill effects. I would just put it in the garage and have your wife take it out for a drive every so often if you trust her. Both my 14 Mustang GT and my 98 K1500 chevy truck sat on the lot for six months before I bought them with no ill effects. I've had the truck for almost 18 years and it still runs great.

I have a 1970 Monte Carlo that I've owned since 1987 that I've only put about 12,000 miles on it since 1996 so it sits a lot. I don't do anything special to it other than last year I finally put a battery tender on it but it starts every time and runs just like it always has.

I personally wouldn't worry about it but you have to do what makes you feel comfortable.

Let the wife drive it monthly. she can add $5.00 in fuel each drive
keeping car and fuel fresh. She will have it all broke in when you get back :)

So I cleaned my garage today to measure it from wall to door. It's
197 inches in length. That seems to be a very tight fit to the 188.3 inches in length of the Shelby.
