Oh yeah! I‘ve had two Jeeps, but thankfully I was able to resist modding them. I do see how they can be just as bad, if not worse than these cars though.

Ok, I've somewhat sorted out my garage for a workable setup.

Besides a few looming Jeep projects, I've been diving more into regearing the Bullitt.

Yeah, the Bullitt needs other things, but regearing is pretty cheap. I'll be doing it myself. For the first time, lol

There's quite a few super helpful threads I've been reading, plus I love buying tools!!

I'm going 4.56. Yes Im aware I'll need some programming/tune update perhaps. Now torn on what brand of gears, lol. Yukon and Richmond make 4.56 for the Super 8.8, but neither brand gives me the warm and fuzzies. I wish FRPP made 4.56, heck they dont even have 4.09 anymore it seems.

I'm just trying to find the best gear set I can. In all reality though, Yukon will probably be fine, my car is so loud and clunky, I doubt any more whine will really matter. I still have a bunch of Noco sound deadening for the trunk/under backseat anyway!

Any othet gear brands I should be looking at?

That's a 30% jump, gonna be a pretty wild change for sure. So instead of turning 2k at highway speeds you'll be turning 2600

American racing headers are in. Running 2 X pipes, full 3" exhaust.

Took forever to do. Just need to tune it.

That sounds even better! I know drag racing isn’t your thing, but whether you decide to go 4.56 or 4.88, you have to at least consider making a few 1/4 mile hits to show us what’s possible with improved gearing before returning to regularly scheduled programming or street driving .

Its not bad with the windows up, but yeah man, its pretty loud when I go a few months without starting it.
