The last 2016 GT350R??

The car gods smiled on me last Friday. The dealer I bought my 2013 SBY Boss 302 from called me to say that Ford had just dropped a GT350R production slot on them and did I want it? Hell yes! Since I have had my "build" with me for the past 6 months, I told him Magnetic paint, Black stripes, cover, Electronics Package. By Sunday, Ford had pulled the Shelby off their web site so mine must be one of the last 2016's. Any idea how long this will take? Now I have to sell my Boss 302 and my prized 1966 Mustang K Code Fastback to keep the peace at home. This is the only car I would do this for!

I just talked to a dealer in the southeast who were notified last week that they were getting 2 extra R allocations. Oh, and they sold them plus their first one at MSRP.

There are 3 incredibly lucky people out there!

I always heard that a few allocations get issued at the end of the cycle. Is it rude to ask what they wanted for it? I expect they are asking typical ADM. Just curious, as a friend on West Coast just told me a local dealer is offering 2 non Rs at invoice. I told him: first, I don't believe it (probably bait & switch) and second, to take it if its real. :eyebulge:

My R is scheduled Apr 4 (ordered August 5), so yours will likely be one of the last ones. I think they build MY16 up to a June date (exact date is posted somewhere here). From posts here, after your confirmed build date, it will be 4 weeks or so to get the car.

A lot of the R's are going to be the last ones. They are having to cram them all in due to the delays.
