$ 425 for a cai.

no.
Right. These manufacturers overcharging for MUSTANG parts is out of control. Example: $400-$1000 for freakin mufflers! SMH

I agree that $425 is too high. It was listed at $325 when I ordered, then was changed to $425, and now has been taken off their site completely. Not sure what is going on. :shrug:

you'll see a new intake from cp-e very soon
We are using 4" aluminum tubing and there will be options to run short ram, open filter in the fender well, or sealed box
Any update on this? Don't care what anyone tells me from what I've seen at the track. The bigger the pipe the more power it makes (all bends equal)

prototype is going on this Tuesday
like said before, you will be able to order it as an open intake where the filter will rest by the fender opening or add a sealed air box
powder coating colors will be red and black to start as with the charge pipes

thanks for keeping us in mind

Roush

Installed the Roush kit a few months back , its definitely pulls in more air but the Intake air temps are higher in traffic / slow driving then the OEM, on the highway it gets within 5 degrees of ambient. Haven't felt any performance gains but didn't really expect any. The Kit is high quality , an easy install and does look better.

I got the Roush intake as well. Do you have a cutback installed as well? I feel like after i installed the intake my exhaust has a bubbling noise to it at idle

no not yet, the last time I installed a CAI and cat back I did it at the same time and didn't know that the CAI changes the exhaust note for the better on its own so this time I haven't done yet to see what the difference is. Its not as dramatic as it was for the V8 but noticeable.

I installed my Cobb CAI over the weekend. It's a quality kit but a bit of a pain to install, mostly due to having to cut and install the air box seal yourself. Took me about two hours to complete. The result looks and sounds great!
