People can pay whatever they like, however, at least for me, it seems odd to pay nearly $10k over sticker when the MSRP for a base 2017 is somewhere around $56k. Since people are getting orders from MSRP to, let's just cap at $10k over, a new 2017 can be had for $56-66k.Most if not all GT350 fans and owners understand the specialness of this car is on another level. For someone else who doesn't see or believe that, cannot fathom how a used car can sell for more than new(amplified in bay area).
It's ironic for someone who buys any regular car that depreciates, and throws thousands upon thousands on mods that they will get pennies on the dollar for when they sell the car, to criticize someone else for overpaying for a car.
The OP says he sold his car that seems to have about 5000 miles, for $63k. Personally, I would rather get a new car if I'm going to pay essentially the same price.
It just seems like the OP got to have his cake and eat it also, which is good for him. It just doesn't seem quite as good for the buyer. That being said, if the buyer is okay with that, then good all around. Even a used gt350 is still a great car.
