Has anyone gotten a car that never showed that it shipped?

Talked to Ford today and they said last update was 11-23-15 when it was built. No updates but said it will be here on 12-14-15, if it doesn't show by 12-15-15 to call them back.

Talked to my sales guy on Wed and he said it hadn't shown shipped then either so who knows.

Would like to see it by Christmas if possible.

I recall some posts of people being surprised that their car was at their dealer. So yeah, probably some cause for hope but pragmatism is called for.

there are a few anecdotes of this happening but I'm not betting on it.
My car was built 11/19 but doesn't have any shipping info, and has a west coast ETA of 12/21-12/27.

What I find interesting about the shipping, and I'm not trying to derail your thread, but I am buying a Focus RS. It is built in Germany, then shipped to the states... All for $875.

It costs that much to ship my 350 from Michigan to SC... Go figure.

That was me. I was following the car daily both through FP and the dealer. It was released for shipping on 11/25. Never showed shipped, and then was delivered 12/5. Mike from FP said that the systems are not all aligned and that the QC issue (wouldnt elaborate) forced FIFO to be screwed up and therefore systems to be non-updated.

I hope that is the case with mine, was built
11/24, released for shipping 12/9 and sitting at rail head.
Still says due between 12/13-12/19 which is next week,
I am hoping

Ford is telling me it's in production and shows ETA to my dealer today 12-14-15...hahaha.

So it's either there, in transit, or will be at the dealer today.

Talked to Ford this morning and they said its still at the plant but still shows an ETA of 12-14-15 here...haha so they are looking for it.



Let me know how your deal works out...never had much luck with them.

I was charged $900 to ship from Flat Rock to Chicago, 5 hours away. go figure.

I am curious. Ford stopped building the R, due to tires issues if they get to cold.
Mine is sitting outside at rail head, waiting for shipping. What are the odds of tires being damaged due to the cold? It is going below zero at night.
Can it do damage, I can't see when it arrives?
