Do you think someone will make some custom kit to get the rear 24 performance brake package calipers to fit a S550?

I notice that the base rear 2024 are single pot like the S550 however the caliper seems to be slightly a different shape.

What benefit do you expect from this? 🤔

The brake's wear pattern is already marginal for many, because the weight balance ensures that the brake on the rear axle is hardly challenged.

Maybe for those who already have the 6 pot in front and want to make the rear look better possibly cheaper than the GT350R kit. Sure probably for more cosmetic reasons. or maybe completely convert a base GT set up to the 650 upgrade brake package. the S650 GT front brembo upgrade option looks beefier than the S550 PP brembo visually with a GT350 style rotor

Seems the GT350 brake set up is probably not recycled to the Dark Horse or PP Brake Package, the rear caliper is a different orientation and seems to be a smaller rotor.

I imagine the new calipers will fit. We already know the hubs and half shafts are either compatible or unchanged.

The biggest hurdle to this cosmetic brake upgrade is the S650 electric hand brake.

I imagine the electric E brake would be the biggest hurdle, I thought about this on the day of the unveil when I noticed they were putting brembos on the rear of the S650 but was disappointed when they mentioned electronic E brake.

I see EBay has a 2023 rear suspension with Brembo package. From the pics, it looks like the suspension is a little different from s550.

Is the E brake handle an on off switch or a variable resistor?

Shouldn't be too hard to rig something up if you need a parking brake. When I had manual trans cars I'd just put it in reverse and not use the brake.
