Hello All,
I am new to the forum.
This past weekend I bought a new 2016 Mustang GT Manual – Magnetic Metallic.
Got it tinted and had some blue LED’s installed under the Footwell’s to give that area a nice glow at night.
Need to take some nice pics and then I will post them up. Hopefully this weekend.

So far I am really enjoying the car. Fortunately for me, this is a weekend/fun car, as I have a 2010 Subaru Forester 5 Speed as my daily driver. So that will allow me to keep the Stang in the garage and keep her in prime condition for most of her life I hope.
Whenever I step in, I want it to feel as new as possible. Will be keeping the miles low.
Hope to get some good knowledge, inspiration and tips from this forum.
This is my first Performance Car purchase ever.
I do have a question though.
Since I have the Base GT, is there any chance of getting a more aggressive Valance installed on the back?
I guess I could try to get a stock GT Premium bumper/valance.
Seems like many of the aftermarket exhaust systems, especially the quad tips, call out for GT Premiums.
Thanks to all in advance for their suggestions/opinions.
Jay

Looks like it only fits the Premium GT Mustangs and not the base, at least according to the website.

Are Non-Premium Base GT Guys just out of luck?

You can get a used GT/Premium bumper and go from there... I would...

I guess I can also look into single tip exhaust systems then I would not have to replace the bumper or anything.

But probably would not look as aggressive.

May not look aggressive but will definitely sound aggressive. Look into Corsa , roush and MBRP exhausts. They're my personal favorite.

Welcome. I like your plan to drive the Subaru as your DD and keep this as a weekend car. Even if I had the extra car, I don't know that I'd have the discipline to let her sit in the garage. This car is the most fun I've had driving.

I think I first want to get the Bumper/Valence similar to the Premium GT.

Since I am ok with the Sound form the stock exhaust for now, I want to get the correct more aggressive look on the back.

If I were to get an OEM bumper, exact match to the GT Premium, how would a person go about getting it painted to the exact color?

Is that possible from a standard place that does paint jobs?

I mean, they have to have the exact paint I would imagine?

Look into an X or H-pipe resonator delete for a nice, but not attention-grabbing improvement on the exhaust. It keeps the stock note, just adds a little bit of volume and a nice growl. Stock, all you can hear with the windows up is induction noise. With a resonator delete, you hear a little bit of the exhaust. Cruising there is no difference, and no drone. Mine seems to pull just a little harder in the upper rpm range now, too.

Congrats and welcome!

Congrats and welcome!

You can add any valence but requires you to cut the base valence off.

So I was browsing around on americanmuscle website.

They have the OEM GT Premium Rear bumper and Valence along with RTR Valence and Roush.

I could get the OEM Bumper from there but it has to be painted.

Do you guys think a regular paint shop could match the paint to the rest of the body?

Also, Fordparts.com seems to pretty much sell any part that you need.

I wonder if I got the bumper through them, if it would be painted already?

I will try to contact them to confirm.

Well Finally took some pics.

Have not really seen anybody else with a Magnetic Metallic with the Black Accent Package.

I do have to say one thing though about the color, I do love it, but it does not look like the stock photos Ford has on their website. I mean in some of the stock photos, it has a much more brown color to it.

The Magnetic looks closer to charcoal to me in person.

Still love it though!

Well, maybe not exactly brown.

I am posting a stock photo.

Not sure how to describe it exactly but if you look at the stock photo, definitely looks different to me.

But I know it has to do with the lighting.
