nav from factory is a $1000 option... I used my phone for nav for years but with forscan I just turned it on for the cost of the OBD II reader and the map pack... pretty nifty if you ask me.
If this thing is anything like it is in the f150... that whole piece just pops out... so if you just have USB in your arm rest, you can order a usb/card hub from a premium GT from the dealer. Couldn't cost more than $50 bucks.
Curious how many miles that car had sitting on the lot that long? I myself would be concerned about how many WOT pulls that engine had from all the people test driving it. I'm sure it was broken in like one of the rental cars.
I'm pretty sad that the GT Poverty Snack is tucked away for the winter but this is my new daily and it's a ton of fun
2016 F150 Lariat 3.5 EB Loaded... thing hauls ass.
Going to keep it stock for a little just need some bigger tires. So far; 2" leveling kit, bed liner, tint and a few other...
You can turn-on the nav via OBD II and Forscan... I just did it and it worked awesome. Let me know if you need help
Parts including the maps will cost you about $120 bucks but you can also turn off the annoying double honk and modify a few other options...
I tried changing the wallpaper to the other settings within the guide, GT350, R, ETC and it's erroring out for me. Can anyone confirm if this was a sync 3 option only or should it be working on MFT also?
yep, thanks man. I did the wallpaper unlock and it looks like it worked. I can't fully test it as my map pack is still coming... hopefully this Friday but the navigation shows up in the top right corner
Thanks for your help guys
I saw that same thing myself. How do you add maps afterwarward to sync 2? Do you buy a map pack on ebay or something? Or.... are maps automatically enabled when you do the hack and you can just update them to the latest version?
