Don't scare the guy. You can pull the fill tube yourself. I have not done it on these cars, but I have done several on other cars, for myself as well as for others. You will need to locate where it attaches to the tank and remove it from there. You may have to remove the rear wheel and wheel liner and maybe some sort of skid plate or you may need to remove the inner trunk lining, but its really not a hard job. If you were nearby, I'd have you come over and we could just do it. Maybe find somebody local thats into working on Mustangs and giving you a hand. Maybe offer some pizza or a BBq or something.

And you want all that lubricant in your fuel tank ?
Its why I said a petroleum based. A few drop into a full tank won't hurt anything. He just needs enough to wet the outside of the hose, not enough to have sex with the entire UCLA Cheer squad.

Take it to the dealer and blame the wife
:D

It will cost, but for me, its not something I would like to muck about with
or maybe, you belong to any breakdown service
call them out, as you are scared to drive the car, and see what they say. They know tricks and have tools the ordinary man "should not have"
and again blame the wife :D

PS
for any wifes out there I am joking !!

Do you not still have the funnel that goes into the filler slot? Put the funnel in, then run the siphon line in. This should work unless their is a screen.

Definitely this. One in another town, if you're that embarrassed. :)
DIY could qualify you for a Darwin award.

Pulling a fuel tank is no big deal. Taking the filler tube off is part of this. If it makes you feel better, use a grounding strap and attach it to the tank. I've pulled at a minimum 10 tanks over the years. There are usually 3-4 8mm bolts that hold a filler neck up top, a hose clamp that holds that tube to the rubber tube and on some cars a rubber grommet where it enters the tank. As the great and wise Adam Carolla says, "In 50 years, we'll all be chicks". Nobody works on there own cars anymore.

Lol all you had to do is add a bottle of lucas octane booster it would have taken 85 octane to 89-90 octane which you can run on no problem...

Were you just dumb today or are you stupid? because you can fix dumb, but you cant fix stupid...lol
