I just sold my 2014 Chevy SS, full bolts ons and tune (12.08@114) with street tires. I gained 80rwhp from just letting the motor breathe and tuning it. The LS3 is detuned significantly from the factory with a horrible transmission tune. Ford did a much better job on their tuning for the Auto than GM. They have way too much Torque management.

It was a great car and handled much smaller than it looks. Mine weighed in at 3860 with 1/3 tank of fuel last time i was at the track. No sunroof or spare.

I had a previous G8 GT, sold for a 2014 track pack which was sold for the Chevy SS...which was sold for the 16 GT. lol
That's a damn good time.
One thing I love about LS motors is all the mods and how they respond well to them.

Nobody cuts a 1.61 sixty foot on street tires. So I assume that drag radials were used in the video! Nice run none the less. Does full bolt-ons include a stall? 80 wheel horse power from a tune and intake????? Really??
I didn't cut a 1.6 60 ft. Where you see that is beyond me. My best with street tires is 1.8.
Never had drag radials on that car.
All bolt ons,
Rotofab CAI
LS7 MAF
Ported IM and TB
Full exhaust
Tune

Dyno'd with just a Rotofab stock tune- 348rwhp and after all mods- 426rwhp. Actually it could have been more due to time differences; Rotofab only was in January with 50* and all mods was in July in 95*. But it wasn't same day blah blah.
Same dyno though.

Stock cam and stock stall with street tires. If I had a drag pack, I would have cut 11.7s

Looking at the comments on the youtube channel, he has:

"Rotofab, LS7 MAF, Rick Crawford IM and TB, Stainless Work LT with 3" cats, Corsa exhaust and Pat G (Patrick Guerra) Tune."

So cold air intake, intake manifold, throttle body, headers, and full exhaust.

I was considering an SS before buying my car. i decided on the GT, first because I wanted a manual, and manual SSs are almost impossible to find. Additionally I figured I would pay close to MSRP if I did find a manual SS. Paying a bit over $30K for the mustang was preferable to paying close to $50k for the SS.
I drove a coupl M6 SS, you'll hate the clutch. The reason I went with the Auto.

On the video you posted it shows a 1.61 60' on the timer after you launched

The 1.61 was right in the video you posted. The big 1.61 on the sign in the video before the E/T flashes indicates your sixty foot. FYI.

That's the reaction time. It's weird how they display it.

Photo attached of the runs that night.

Holden Special Vehicles GTS, LSA powered, not a bad bit of gear.

Too bad Holden and Ford are finishing production in this country, Ford also have a locally produced 4 door with a supercharged Coyote.

Yikes. That is not a good looking vehicle.

I can appreciate the effort to provide a powerful sedan though.

Some Australian motoring comparisons of Australian Mustang vs Holden SSV (LS3) much the same as the Chevy SS ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holden_Commodore_(VF ), Note, Australian GT Mustangs have slightly less power compared to USA. Due to altered exhaust manifold to cater for the RHD conversion.

My friend has a 15 SS heads, Cam, Fast intake, and full exhaust and his car moves! Ran an 11.3 at sac raceway a few months ago on slicks making around 505rwhp. I really like the cars I'm just not big on sedans. We're suppose to race soon but I think I'm gonna come up short with the mods I have.
