Planning on boosting my MT82 car soon, and I'm looking for a good street tire. Hoping to keep the power level around 700 whp with a Procharger D1SC.

How do the Michelin's hook from a roll?

What speed roll? What size tire?

While they are a good tire, even a near stock powered car can chirp them at lower roll speeds.

Although with how the centris build torque, you will have a better time hooking than say a PD or turbo car.

40mph+ you'll be okay.
From a dig or 20mph it'll bog/chirp with boost

Like stated above, it depends on the speed of that roll and how hard you get into the gas pedal. I'm running the Mickey Thompson's Street Comp on a Roush Phase 2 and they will spin if I get on the gas hard in 2th or 3rd gears.

I have a pd so no first hand experience with centri but I don’t think they’ll hook below 60 at all with 700

I'm guessing your standard 40 or 60 roll. I'm not a race car driver. I just want the car to safely hook when I punch it from time to time, that's all.

My other choice is a drag radial, but those tires aren't too safe in the rain (and rain is inevitable in NY).

id look into the et street ss. Did fine in the rain. I understand what you’re looking for... I think it’ll spin into third without r888s/ et street or something similar
