Mach 1 and GT500 Rear

Am i right in saying the GT500 and the Mach 1 rear valance are the same? They look the same from pictures but can anyone confirm they are the same part number?

Yes, the GT350 is different. It is the 2020 GT500+ and 2021 Mach 1 that share the same part number.

Does anyone know if the close-out panel is needed for this to fit a 2018+ GT, or will the valance fit without it?
