I have been running pennzoil ultra platinum for 18 months in my '15GTPP. This oil is amazing. The wear properties are off the charts, good. This is all I am running going forward.

What's Lucas' rep compared to Amsoil?

Not sure. They seem to be very involved in racing and if it's good enough for the Track Attack cars it's good enough for me.

I'd just like to be able to go down to the auto parts store and buy Ford spec'd 5w-50 oil off the shelves. I was told by someone in the know on this oil that they're shooting for an $8-ish retail price, which will be nice.

I was very bummed when I saw the Pennzoil didn't make their ultra in a 5w-50. I'll just stick with the ford stuff until they do.
