The engineers at ford fought hard to use the headers that come on mustangs, had they lost, the manifolds would look like the truck cast manifolds.

Most shortie headers mate up with the factory cats. I trust the engineers at ford to get this correct.

Yes the collectors on shortie headers are too short, if you are going to modify them why not just go ahead with long tubes? Much better return for investment.

Collectors size are usually 3" If you use a 3" pipe coming of the collector you can come up with a relatively correct length in the 7-15" range. A grease pen will will get you very close. Mark it, where it stops melting, that the end of the collector. Also, don't have to dyno anything. There's plenty of vids out there from various companies independant or otherwise.

Why would anyone change that if the car does not have headers?

Lund = canned tune?

I haven't been able to see any of his tunes since he changed the operating system. But by listening to people's problems he just does a canned tune, unless you pay for a dyno tune.

Ok. Yes, there are keywords that trigger a system. But not someone constantly monitoring. Thats all i was getting at. The parameters depend on the keywords that are used.

I assumed you knew what offroad meant (and you do) and yes, when i mentioned the offroad part, i was referring to people that actually use them offroad. ie not on the street. So we have no disagreement there and even said it was dumb to broadcast like watch reviews you are street driving a vehicle like that on say..facebook. i put quotes around snitches, its not my word, sorry my failed attempt to go back at what term you used for automatic at Expert Watchman to correlated to me saying snitches.

Yes, there are things that are watched, and yes, dont be stupid posting things on the internet. Some things are monitored more closely than others. Cat deletes generally arent high on the list.

That’s what I was told and it was explained to me that the maf sensor will see the extra flow and compensate for it

There is a setting called "transport delay" that needs to be adjusted to compensate for the relocated O2 sensor.

If your tuner adjusts this without you having headers.....
